Cognitive Challenges

Cognitive Challenges
Adults with cognitive challenges can often face the disease of addiction.
Further, traditional programs don’t accommodate the needs of those with cognitive challenges to achieve sobriety.

Belvedere Addictions Center recognizes the challenges those with cognitive disorders face in achieving sobriety and has a specialized program for adults with cognitive disorders.
We work with adults with cognitive challenges such as:
  • Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
  • Brain Injuries
  • Alzheimer’s Disease
  • Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
  • Learning disabilities, including those with Intellectual Disabilities (ID)
  • Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
Whether this is your first time getting treatment, or if you have failed out of other treatment programs, Belvedere helps you to learn how to live a meaningful and purposeful life, free from all mood and mind altering substances, and understands the challenges you face because of your disease.
